Betty Lou Hiles, 83, of Marysville, and formerly of Gallia County, passed away at 5:06 am on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in the Urbana Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born June 3, 1935 in Ohio Township she was the daughter of the late Asa and Grace Martin Johnson. She was a retired supervisor for the Volunteers of America in Columbus, Ohio. She attended the Kings Chapel Church in her Earlier Years.
She is survived by her son, Gregory (Patricia) Johnson, of Marysville, Ohio, two grandchildren, Brandy Wilson and Hattie Rossister, and two great-grandchildren Shania and Hannah. Two sisters, Garnet M. Saxon, of Urbana, and Carol A. Shafer, of Gallipolis and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents Betty is preceded in death by her Husband, James Edward Hiles on June 7, 2000, sisters, Doris Wisecarver, and an infant brother, Clifford Johnson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis. Rev. Truman Johnson will officiate and interment will follow in the Kings Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the funeral services.
