Bonnie Jo (Ratcliff) Phillips

Bonnie Jo Phillips, 36, went to be with the Lord, at 3:07 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. Born June 16, 1979 in Gallipolis, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Donald L. Ratcliff Sr. and Sheila Johnson Ratcliff, who survives in Crown City. Bonnie was a homemaker and a food service worker for Washington Elementary. Bonnie was a faithful member of the Addison Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, Bonnie is survived by her husband, Ronnie Ray Phillips, whom she married on November 25, 1995, in Chesapeake, a daughter, Megan Phillips, and a son Nathanael Phillips, both of the home, sisters, Lola (Christopher) Wolf, of Gallipolis, and Kasandra Wells, of Crown City, and a brother, Donald L. Ratcliff, Jr., of Crown City. Father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ronnie R. and Sharon Phillips Sr., of Chesapeake, a brother-in-law, Eric (Christy) Phillips, of Chesapeake, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her father, Bonnie is preceded in death by her son, Noah Phillips whom passed in infancy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cremeens Funeral Chapel, Gallipolis. Pastor Rick Barcus and Gallipolis Fire Department Chaplain Bob Hood will officate. Interment will follow in the Addison Reynolds Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, at the funeral home.
