Darleen Joyce Ashby

Darlene Joyce Ashby, 64, of Langsville, passed away, unexpectedly at 10:00 pm. On Sunday, August 27, 2017 at her daughters residence. Born December 3, 1952 in Warren, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Steve Kuhn and Marietta Croy Kuhn. She was a Home Health Aide for Quality Care, Inc. in Gallipolis, and attended the Danville Holiness Church.

She is survived by her son, Rev. Joseph (Belinda) Ashby, of Floyd, Virginia, three daughters, Janet (Kevin) Kincaid, of Rodney, Marilynn (Sean) Meadows, of Vinton, and Rachel Lynn Ashby, of Langsville, grandchildren, Sarah and Joseph Ashby, Kourtney and Joshua Viars, Brooklin (Alfonso Blazer) Stapleton, Colyn Blazer, Breanna Stapleton, Evan Meadows, Tristan Meadows, Alec Meadows, Kayden Meadows, Harrison Meadows, Natalee Meadows, and Mayson Meadows, a great-grandson, Colyn Blazer. Step-grandchildren, Jeremy Kincaid, Kevin Kincaid Jr., Sarah Kincaid, Matt Kincaid, Bradley Kincaid, and Noah Kincaid, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, Marilynn Brown and Debbie Lewis, and two brothers, James Kuhn and Steve Kuhn also survive.

In addition to her parents on April 1. 2010 her husband, Herman D. Ashby, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 1, 2017 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis, with Rev. Brian Bailey officiating.
