Hazel L. Springer Adkins, of Gallipolis, passed away, at 7:50 a.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in the Abbyshire Place, Bidwell. Born March 28, 1930 in Gallipolis, Ohio she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Griase White Springer. She was a homemaker.
Hazel is survived by her daughters, Brenda Foster, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and Joy Adkins, of Williamsburg, Ohio, and a son, Charles L. ‘Chuck’ Banks, of Hillsboro, Ohio. Ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by her first husband, George Wills, her second husband, James Banks, and her third husband, John Adkins, and sons, Thom Wills, Jimmy Wills and sisters, Margaret Johnson, Betty Johnson, and brothers, Tom Springer, Clarence Springer, and Virgil Springer, and her step-father, Malley Angle.
