Mark A. Saffles 51, Gallipolis, passed away unexpectedly at 7:54 P.M. Thursday, September 7, 2017 in the Emergency Department at the Holzer Medical Center. Born September 9, 1965 in Gallipolis, Ohio he was the son of Patty McGuire Bennett, of Gallipolis, and the late John A. Saffles. He was employed by Wal-Mart in Gallipolis. In addition to his mother he is survived by an uncle, Jim McGuire, Gallipolis and cousins, Lorrena McGinniss, Gallipolis, Cassandra Lynn, of Camby, Oregon, John McGuire Jr., of Florida and Connie McGuire, Gallipolis. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two uncles, Chuck McGuire and John McGuire. In keeping with Mark's wishes there are no calling hours. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Cremation services are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis,
