Mark Gordon Stadie, 63, of Bidwell, passed away, at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at his sons Springfield, Ohio residence. Born April 28, 1953, in Mexico City, Mexico, he is the son of Harry and Gail Classon Stadie who survive in Tuscan, Arizona. He was the director of Weatherization for the Gallia-Meigs Community action.
In addition to his parents Mark is survived by his wife Kathryn Jean Rubenstahl Stadie, whom he married on April 34, 1981, in Gallipolis. His children, Robert (Jodi) Lee, of Bidwell, Cynthia Lee, of Springfield, Debra Lee, of Springfield, Thomas Lee, of Springfield, and Katrina (Joe) White, of Kitts Hill, Ohio, grandchildren; Mark Lee, Mason Lee, R.J. Rollins, Ciara Sexton, Hannah Lee, Brianna Alcorn, and Hailey Johnson, a great-grandchild, Journey Lee. Special friend Larry Craycraft, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Mark is preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan Lee, a granddaughter, Emily Alcorn and brothers, Scott and Robert Stadie.
A memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Chapel, Gallipolis. Pastor Earl Ireland will officiate.
