Ronald L. Denney, 68, passed away, at 4:05 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016, in the Emergency Department of the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. Born March 4, 1947, in Langsville, Ohio he was the son of the late Marvin O. and Helen Maxine Shenefield Denney. He was a linesman.
He is survived by his children, Ronnie (Ginger) Denney, of Vinton, and Rhonda (Todd) Holstein, of Thurman, grandchildren, Brittany Davis, Colt Holstein, and Gracie Denney. A sister, Linda D. (Mike) Sibley, of Gallipolis, a brother, Randall L. (Becky) Denney, of Bidwell, a niece, Amanda (Chris) Elkins, nephews, Allan (Melanie) Denney, Sean Denny, and Adam (Erin) Denney, also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2016, in the Cremeens Funeral Chapel, Gallipolis with Rev. Ted Russell officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Salem Center Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
