Ruby D. Sears, 61, Gallipolis, passed away 12:20 P.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2017, in the Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. Born September 28, 1956 in Braxton County, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Snowden V. and Esther D. McCune Sears, Ruby is survived by two sisters, Brenda Greathouse, of Chloe, West Virginia and Clara Davis, of Gallipolis and a brother-in-law, John W. Johnson of Gallipolis. She is also survived by a special niece and caregiver, Linda Sue Johnson Bing, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Johnson and two brothers-in-law, Mark Davis and Cama Greathouse. Funeral services will be at Noon Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis, Rev. Charles Birchfield will officiate. Interment will be in the Centenary Cemetery in Green Township . Friends may call from 6 - 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
