Tommy “Tom” Lee Romine, 59, from Middleport, passed away on May 12, 2015 in the Holzer Meigs Emergency Room. Born August 29, 1955 in Mason County, West Virginia he was the son of the late Delbert Howard and Emma Louise Engle Romine. Tom was a 1974 graduate of Meigs High School. During Tom’s life he was employed with PDK Construction, Shelly Company, and Overbrook Center. Tom liked spending time watching football, and Nascar, and being outside hunting, fishing, and growing a garden. He was also a caring and thoughtful person.
Tom is survived by son, Christian Romine, of Middleport, a step-son, Joseph Bush, of Middleport, the mother of his child and caretaker, Tammy Bush, of Pomeroy, sisters, Connie Romine Dilcher, and Wilma Romine, a uncle Kenny Romine. Special friends and caretakers, Orville Bush and Donna Miller also survive.
In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, in Pomeroy. Rev. Buster Neece will officiate. Interment will follow in the Miles Cemetery, in Rutland Ohio. Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service on Friday at the funeral home.
