Woodrow "Woody" W. Hall Jr.

Woodrow W. “Woody” Hall, Jr. of Middleport, passed away, at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at his residence. Born September 13, 1952, in Greenbrier County, West Virginia he was the son of the late Woodrow W. and Margaret Childress Hall, Sr.. He was a tomato farmer and a U.S. Army Veteran.

Wood is survived by his wife, Peggy White Hall whom he married in Brea, West Virginia in 1993, a daughter, Margaret Hall, of Racine, and a son, Woodrow W. “J.R.” (Melissa) Hall, III., grandchildren, Matthew Brown, Jr., Missouri Brown, Jazlyn Hall, Michael Brown, Dominic Pridemore, Derrick Pridemore, and sisters, Sandra Patterson, of Letart, and Lillian Traylor, of Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents “Woody” is preceded in death by a brother, Jim Hall.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Letart Falls Cemetery with Pastor Hershel White officiating.  The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, of Pomeroy has been entrusted with Woody’s arrangements.
