Beverely J. Johnson

Beverly J. Johnson, 67, Rutland, formerly of Racine, passed away at 10:50 A.M. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her Paulins Hill Road home. Born June 5, 1950 in Mason, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Fred and Verna Johnson Sayre. She was a retired home health care worker and was a member of the North Bend Church in Mason. Surviving is her husband, Gregory Lee Johnson, son, Joshua (Christina) Dowell, Washington Court House, Ohio, grandchildren, Seleena, Sylvia, Matthew, Johnathan, Isabela, Abigail and Mayleigh, sisters, Barbara (Jim) Willis, Albany, Ohio, Loretta (Bob) Goff, Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, Rhonda (Michael) Shaffer, Dover, Ohio, brothers, Fred (Tammie) Sayre, Tacoma, Washington, Frank (Rhonda)
Sayre, Uhrichsville, Ohio and Eric Sayre, Washington Court House, Ohio, her canine companion, Maggie Mae, very special friends Robert and Lynn Hoffman and family. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sons, Roy lee Dowell and Robert (Lenny) Dowell. Family will receive friends from 10 A to Noon on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine. Private family interment will be in the Cherry Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beverly Johnson Memorial Fund, C/O Cremeens-King Funeral Home, P.O. Box 323, Racine, Ohio  45771.
