Donny Ray Hoffman, 58, Racine passed away at 8:45 A.M. Friday, August 4, 2017 at his Letart Township home. Born July 2, 1959 in Dallas, Texas he was the son of the late Harry and Mary Green Hoffman. He was a retired riverboat captain from the Karnard River Towing Company. Surviving is his wife, Jamye Hudson, and his children, Joshua (Nada) Romero, Fredericksburg, Virginia, David Aucoin, Patterson, Louisiana, Jessie (Misty Cline) Hoffman, Racine, Chantell (Richard Causey) Hoffman, Harrisonville, Ohio, Malissa (Jason Wittig) Hoffman, Pomeroy, Bill (Jennifer) Hoffman, Franklin, Louisiana, Jade Hoffman, Columbus, Ohio and Chikotay Hoffman, Columbus, Ohio. Fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild also survives as does a sister, Peggy Todd, of Texas and a brother, Danny Hoffman, of Louisiana. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Troy Todd. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Middleport-Pomeroy Chapel. Rev. Jesse McKendree will officiate. Interment will be in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
