Gwendolyn M. Folmer, 55, of Athens passed away at 12:35 pm on Friday, July 28, 2017, in the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Born March 31, 1962, in Coco Beach, Florida to the Late Betty Parsons Folmer Dill and Donald Ray Folmer, Sr. She was a State Tested Nurses Assistant for over twenty years.
Gwendolyn is survived by her two daughters, Tiffany (Sean Braley) Reitmire, of Middleport, and Faith (Bobby Keaton) Reitmire, of Coolvile, her husband, Charles Reitmire. Her sisters, Sheila (Glen) Knudson, of Athens, Sharon Brewster, of Canada, brothers, Donald Folmer, Jr., of Pomeroy, Todd Dill, step-brothers, Ed Dill, of Pomeroy, and Mike (Isabelle) Dill, of Rutland, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three step-brothers, Bobby, Tony, and Ryan Dill.
Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy. In keeping with her wishes cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Gwendolyn's memory to the Gwendolyn Folmer memorial fund PO Box 667 Pomeroy, Ohio.
