Judy (Criner) Fields

Judy Criner Fields, 85, of West Columbia, West Virginia, passed away, at 12:32 a.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018 in the Holzer Meigs Emergency Room, Pomeroy. Born December 2, 1932 in Gallipolis, WV., she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Nona Henry Criner. She retired from Lakin Hospital and loved to spend time outdoors and planting flowers. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Vickie (Robert Jr.) Dress, of Wellston, Oh., Kathy (Dave) Sigman, of New Haven, and Paul Fields, of West Columbia, eight grandchildren, Sheri (Jason) Huffman, Eric Dress, Davey (Megan) Sigman, Troy (Amy) Sigman, Steven (Laurel) Sigman, Tommy (Debbie) Fields, Johnny (Linda) Fields, and Angie Fields. Sixteen great-grandchildren, Keaton Huffman, Aleya Huffman, Zachary Dress, Kayla Dress, Tori Sigman, Kloe Sigman, Cole Sigman, Beau Sigman, Asher Sigman, Rece Sigman, Christopher Fields, Natalie Fields, Dillon Fields, Raelynn Fields, Breanna Fields, and Marissa Fields, a brother-in-law, George (Joan) Fields, of Hartford, a sister-in-law, Mary Fields, of Wisconsin and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Fields whom preceded her on February 12, 2016, a daughter, Penny Kay Fields, a son, Charles Thomas Fields, sisters, Ernestine Moodispaugh, Lecta Gardner, Hazel Walker, and Virginia Allen, brothers, Lewis, William, Charles, and Leroy Criner.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Cremation services are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy. Interment will be at the convenience of the family the Hartford Cemetery.
