There are not enough words to describe how Jerry loved and helped his friends, family, coworkers and anyone else who came his way. He was a brave, selfless, compassionate, wise, forward looking leader who lit the way. He was my friend, my teacher and my brother. I will see him again one day and I am sure Jerry will have a joke or two to share with me. Prayers for his family. May God bless all of us who miss him.

Jerry took an interest in me as a new Union Brother. He gave friendship, advice and encouragement. When others were negative he kept a positive attitude and taught me the meaning of perseverance. He rallied to the cause of getting training and he always had a positive word when I thought I might be over my head. Leader, Mentor, Brother and friend you will remain with me until it is my time to join you again.

Prayers for the family at this time of need. Jerry was a fellow worker with me at Kaiser Aluminum , Ravenswood, WV. He will be sadly missed.

I’m terribly sorry about Jerry. I worked with him at Kaiser 40 years ago. He was a class guy all the way. I extend my sympathy to the family. Jeff Fields.
