Robert Lee Bell, 88, Gallipolis, passed away at 8:40 A.M. Monday, November 13, 2017 in the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Born February 19, 1929 in Paden City, West Virginia he was the son of the late Oliver Addison and Lelia Crystal Sullinger Bell. He was a retired electrician and was a member of for over 65 years of Local #852 of the International Brotherhood of Eectrical Workers, Corinth, Mississippi. Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran serving two tours of duty both in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a Master Mason of the Morning Dawn Lodge #7 of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio with over 35 years of membership. He was also a 32nd degree Master Mason. He married Mary Darlene Crace in September, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri and she preceded him in death on May 6, 1996. He married Loretta Stover on August 3, 2013 in Shade, Ohio and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Robert Bell Jr., of Ashland, Kentucky and Michael (Teresa) Bell, of Bainbridge, Ohio, grandchildren, Nicole (Michael) Pennington, Lancaster, Ohio, Robert Bell III,of Ashland, Kentucky and Amanda (William) Tucker, of Tampa, Florida, his step-daughter, Brenda (Craig) Dorst, of Athens, Ohio and step-grandchildren, Zachary Dorst, Gabriel Dorst and Addison Dorst. Also surviving is his sisters-in-law, Shirley Ann Estep, of Lebanon, Ohio and Virginia Chapman, of Athens, Ohio and brother-in-law, James Crace,of Augusta, Georgia. In addition to his parents and first wife he was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon M. Bell and Arch . Bell. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Malcolm Grueser. Interment will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Ohio Township. Friends may call from 6 - 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Masonic funeral services will be conducted by Morning Dawn Lodge # 7, F. & A.M. at 8 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Gallia County Veterans Funeral Detail Team
