Suzanne "Missy" Mattis

Suzanne Michelle "Missy" Mattis, 49, Portland, passed away at 11:38 A.M. Saturday, January 27, 2018 in the Marietta Memorial Hospital. Born December 13, 1968 in Beverly, Ohio she was the daughter of Susan Frederick King Wainwright, of Waterford, Ohio and the late Jim King. She was a homemaker. Missy married Nick Mattis on October 11, 2001 in Corunna, Michigan and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Gary Ledford Jr., of New Jersey, Devon Ledford, of Racine, Damon Ledford, of Pomeroy, Derek Ledford of New Jersey and Vanessa Mattis of Portland, a granddaughter, Willow Sigman, two sisters, Amy King, of Athens, Ohio and Jamie (Jim) Weaver, of Little Hocking, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jim King, and her grandparents. Missy requested no visitation or funeral services and that she be cremated. Cremation services are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine.
