Barbara Ann Hammond

Barbara Ann Hammond, 85, of Bakersfield, California and formerly of 430 First Avenue, Gallipolis, passed away at 9:43 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026, in the Height Street Care Center in Bakersfield, California. Born March 17, 1940, in Gallipolis, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Harry and Martha Smith Reapp.

Surviving are her two daughters, Cynthia (Jim) Hamilton, of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Jody (Pam) Hammond, of Bakersfield, California, her four grandchildren, Jodee Hammond, Kerri Paulson, Skyler Hamilton and Joshua Hamilton, seven grandchildren, her sister, Marilyn Milstead, of Dexter City, Ohio and brothers, Jim (Alma) Harris, of Gallipolis and Lanny Reapp, of Phoenix, Arizona.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Desira Hammond and a sister, Joyce Neal.
