Bonnie Darlene Burke, 64, of Bidwell, Kerr Community, passed away, peacefully at her home at 1:39 p.m. on June 1, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born November 19, 1961, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to the Gerald “Gene” and Lana Darlene Turner Campbell. Bonnie attended Gallia Academy High School, in the Gallipolis, Ohio, in the seventies.
Bonnie was a homemaker who cherished time with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and was especially talented in the kitchen. In her quieter moments, she loved watching the birds in her yard, keeping up with local news, and enjoying her favorite true crime shows and westerns.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Allen Burke, of Bidwell, Josh (Peggy) Burke, of Bidwell, Alicia (Ricardo) Mayorge, of Dallas, Texas, and Gabriel “Armando” Trejo, of Dallas Texas, and numerous grandchildren. Her siblings, Teresa Campbell, of Bidwell, Sandra (Brett) Stout, of Gallipolis, Harold (Sue) Campbell, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and Gerald (Tonya) Campbell, and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, and also her ride or die friend, Jonathan Halley also survives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by and brother in infancy.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to her hospice nurses, Misti, Danielle, and Precious, for the kindness and care they showed throughout her journey.
