Brian Finney Obituary

Brian Matthew Finney, 32, of Vinton, passed away, on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at his residence. Born December 27, 1991, in Waynesville, North Carolina he was the son of Edward Earl (Tisha) Finney, of Canton, NC, and Blenda Wyatt, of Waynesville, NC. He was a Direct Support Professional and worked for Red Door in Gallipolis. He loved to fish, hunt, and spending time outdoors. He loved music and played guitar, and he enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by seven children, Brylee, McKenzie, Kylee, Silas, Coleman, McKenna, and Lillyanna, his fiancé, Jennifer “Jenny” Pierce, his stepchildren, Austin Adkins and Skylar Adkins, sisters, Charissa Finney, of Waynesville, and Brittany Dodd, of New Hampshire, a brother, Anthny Finney, of Waynesville, NC, his step-father, Allen Noble, of Gallipolis, His paternal grandmother, Betty Wyatt, of Waynesville, NC, sisters-in-law, Kimmy Moore, and Cassie Pierce, Aunt Linda and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, also survive. Also surviving his is canine companion, Luna.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Horace Wyatt, and his paternal grandparents, Gary and Lorraine Finney.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis. Friends may call two hours prior to the service.
