Candy Dailey, 65, of Chester, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. Born on May 28, 1960 in Pomeroy, Candy was the daughter of Bill Dailey of Long Bottom and the late Carole Dailey.
Candy was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and her love of helping others. She had a special affection for animals, especially her beloved dog, Gracie, who held a cherished place in her heart. Candy and Gracie are now reunited together, along with the loved ones who preceded her in death — her mother, Carole Dailey, and her sisters, Connie Murphy and Bonnie Milhoan.
She is survived by her sisters Dee Congrove (Tracy) and Treasa Ohlinger; her daughter Amanda Frecker (Jason); her daughter Suzie Evans (Jamie) and grandson Corbin Sisson; her son Jeffery Milhoan; and several nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth and kindness.
Candy’s compassion, selflessness, and deep love for her family and animals touched the lives of many. Her memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral services. The family will honor her life privately.
