Charles “Chuck” A. Stover, 57, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. He was born on October 27, 1968, in Gallipolis, Ohio, the beloved son of Barbara Lopez, who survives him, and the late Garland Stover. He attended Gallia Academy High School in Gallipolis; Chuck was formerly employed by K-Mart and Ingram Marine Corporation. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his family. Chuck will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and love for those closest to him.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Katrina (Keith) Wilson and Mindy Smith; nephews, Nicholas Wilson and Jeremy (Madelyn) Wilson; nieces, Nacoma (Curtis) Hudnall and Danielle Smith; and great-nephews, Wesley and Bodie Wilson.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Garland Stover; stepfather, Aland Lopez; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Opal Jones; and paternal grandparents, Russell and Rachel Stover.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Countryside Baptist Church, 2265 Harrisburg Road, Bidwell, Ohio 45614, with Mark Dunlap and David Rinehart officiating.
