Debra Manley George, 65, of Bidwell, the Morgan Center Community, passed away, at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in the CAMC Teays Valley Hospital, Hurricane, West Virginia. Born October 24, 1959, in Pomeroy, Ohio, she was the daughter of late Finley Manley and Rosie Hysell Longerbone. She was a homemaker and founder of Runts Aluminum and Scrap Metal.
She is survived by her husband, Richard George, whom she married in Perrysburg, Virginia, on June 7, 1978, children, Naomi (Michael) Hall, Bidwell, and Wendell (Angela) George, of Langsville, grandchildren, Aaron Hall, Nathan Hall, Brayden Hall, Adelynna Hall, Abigail George, Sarah George, and Eli George. Her siblings, Joyce Durham, of Jackson, Oh., Richard (Debbie) Manley, of Gallipolis, John (Debbie) Manley, of Bidwell, Oh., Jude Reda, of Cleveland, Oh., Robert (Charlene) Manley, of Bidwell, Oh., a half-brother, Ed (Linda) Manley, of Logan, Oh., and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Martha Groves.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in the Morgan Center Christian Holiness Church with Rev. Daniel Roush officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service at the Church. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis is entrusted with the arrangements.
