Donna Tripp Obituary

Donna K. Tripp, 86, of the Laurel Cliff Community, Pomeroy, passed away at 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025 in the Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Born May 23, 1939 in Athens, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Kermit and Bernice Hawk Swartz. She was a retired elementary school teacher having taught in the Athens Christian School, Alexander Local Schools and the Meigs Local Schools. She was a member of the Laurel Cliff Freewill Methodist Church. She is survived by her three daughters, Debra K. (David) Dempsey, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Linda L. (Richard) Isaac, of Pickerington, Ohio and Vanessa (Joel) Kendall, of Columbus, Ohio, her son, Ronald C. Gross, of Columbus, Ohio, her grandchildren, Nakia Angelique, Elisabeth Dempsey, David K. (Erica) Dempsey, Rodney Gross, Allan (Nikki) Isaac, Adam Isaac, Robin Boggess, Anthony Kendall, Veronica Kendall, Carlos Kendall, Manny Kendall, Dartanian Kendall and Gabriella Kendall, her great-grandchildren, Cairo Amber Dempsey, Willow Dempsey, Jayden Isaac, Owen Isaac, Brennen Gibeault, Marleigh Isaac, Majarak Ruggles and Phoenix Ruggles. Also surviving is a special friend, Joy Fields, of West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Gene Gross, Harry Clark, Tim Kern and Alvin Tripp. In keeping with Donna's wishes, there are no calling hours or funeral service. A private family graveside service will be in the Graham Chapel Cemetery in Lodi Township of Athens County. Donna's arrangements are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy.
