Donna Rae Powell Wolfe, 79, of Racine, went to rejoice with the Lord early morning February 10, 2026. Donna Rae was a member of the Racine Baptist Church where she raised her children to love God.
Donna Rae was preceded in death by her father, Jerry A. Powell; mother, Marilyn Powell; former husband, Lester Austin Wolfe; former son-in-law, Randy K. Pyles and her beloved pet, Sadie Sue.
Donna Rae wore many hats in her lifetime, daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. All of which she wore with honor.
Donna Rae retired from her working life from Southern Local School District where she also wore many hats of service. She worked as a teacher’s aide, a cook, a secretary for the Jr. High School, and a librarian.
In Donna Rae’s younger years, she served as a volunteer on the Racine Volunteer Squad. She volunteered as an EMT and later as an Advanced EMT and served her community well. She also volunteered her time in the Racine Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary keeping a long line of family service to her community.
Donna Rae is survived by her sister, Jane Ann (late Roger E.) Hill, her son, Jerry (Dixie) Wolfe, her daughter, Aimee Pyles, her grandchildren, Hannah Wolfe (Linden Lockhart), Betsy (Clay) Stone, Grace (Bruno) Casci, Charley Pyles (Autumn Tackett), Stefanie Pyles (Sam Collins), Jacoby Hall, and great-grandchildren, Warren Stone, Mitchell Stone, and soon arriving Gemma Casci. Special niece Heather (Jamie and Raegan) Jones, special nephew Scott (Jen, Molly, Jenna, and Kathryn) Hill and many more nieces and nephews also survive.
Donna Rae’s memory will live on in the hearts of many.

Visitation services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Duke Holbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
