Erin Michelle Caldwell, 47, of Columbus, and formerly of Gallipolis, passed away, at 11:54 am on Thursday, March 26, 2026, in the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was the daughter of the late Ann Kaminski Caldwell and John “Fish” Caldwell who survives in Gallipolis. She was a 1996 Gallia Academy graduate and continued her education at The Ohio State University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2001. Erin’s witty personality, brilliance, warmheartedness, and incredible artistic talent will be greatly missed. She was a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt, a loving niece, cousin, and friend to many.
In addition to her father she is survived by her sister, Colleen (Michael) McComas, of Prichard, West Virginia, and a brother, Brian (Brandy) Caldwell, of Ashland, Ohio. She is also survived by and will be missed by her two nieces, Ava and Zoey Caldwell, who she was always willing to help them with any art project and how she was always loving, and caring.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her beloved dog, Andy.
No funeral services will be held, as this was Erin’s Wish. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Erin’s memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research www.michaeljfox.org. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis, is entrusted with Erin’s Arrangements.
