Erma J. Norris, 88, of Racine, passed away at 1:38 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at her daughter's residence in Charleston, West Virginia. Born on October 8, 1935, in Harrisonville, Ohio she was the daughter, of the late Lloyd and Elsie Gray Boring. She was a woman with many talents, she was a hairdresser, worked in banking, catering, and worked for South Point Local Schools, but her favorite job was packing tomatoes for Adams Farms. She also was a member of Racine First Baptist Church.
She is survived by children, Diana L. Ihle, of Racine, Sandra K. Baldinger, of Kennewick, Washington, Debra A. (Keith) McKnight, of Fairmont, West Virginia, and Linda S. (Tom) McVey, of Charleston, WV., grandchildren, Nikki Whobrey, C.J. (Courtnie) McKnight, Kristen (Jani) Wuttig, Ashli (Aaron) Giles, Erin (Paul) Stachura, Jenna (Joe) Wonsettler, Meghan (Scott) Beha, and Tim Baldinger. Great-grandchildren, Carter McKnight, Mikaila Wuttig, Addison Wuttig, Avery Stachura, Charlie Wonsettler, Caylee McKnight, Landon Beha, Corinne Stachura, Olivia Beha, Jocelyn Wonsettler, Jaeger Wonsettler, Zoey Wuttig, Brant Stachura, and Luke Giles, sisters, Garnett Horton, of Fort Lauderdale, Fl., Genny (Bill) Gillenwater, of Hillard, Oh., Joyce (Dave) Bussart, of Columbus, a brother, Sonny (Charlotte) Boring, of Wooster, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Norris, sons-in-law, Nick Ihle, and Bill Baldinger, a brother, Ed Boring, and a sister, Kay Dickens.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in the Racine First Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Beha and Pastor Aaron Young officiating. Interment will follow in the Letart Falls Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Tuesday at the Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kanawha Hospice Care, 1001 Kennawa Dr. Charleston, WV 25311. The arrangements are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine.
