Harold Thacker

Harold Thacker, 71, of Patriot, passed away, at 11:32 a.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023 in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. Born November 10, 1951, in Gallipolis, he was the son of the late Warren “Cecil” and Birdie Dempsey Thacker. He retired from Richard Brothers Orchid.

He is survived by his son, Dakota (Kayla Siders) Thacker, of Bidwell, grandchildren, Jaylyn Thacker, Jaxon Thacker, and Jace Thacker. Brothers, Donald Thacker, Sr., and Glenn Thacker, sisters, Shirley Thacker, and Sadie Ball, a great-nephew, Justin Johnson, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death b a great-nephew, Brady Thacker, three brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis. Interment will follow in the Brush Cemetery, Vinton.
