James "Jim" Taylor

James “Jim” Taylor, 59, of Middleport, passed away, at 5:49 pm on Friday, March 7, 2025, in the Cabell Huntington Hospital. Born May 28, 1965, in Meigs County he was the son of the late James E. Taylor and Opal C Watson Conger. He was a laborer.

He is survived by his companion, Michelle Casto, of Middleport, children, James Taylor Jr., of North Carolina, Kaylee Bee, of Middleport, and Hope Casto, of Middleport. Grandchildren, Gabriel Roush, and Harmonee Young, siblings, Brenda Meldau, of Syracuse, Lotetta Lunsford, of Middleport, and Brian (Jennifer Mankin) Taylor, of Middleport, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy, is entrusted with Jim’s arrangements.
