James R. “Randy” Oiler, 55, of Middleport, passed away, unexpectedly in the Holzer Meigs Emergency Department. Born July 11, 1969, in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Ralph and Elsie Petrie Oiler. He was a security guard for Allied United Security.
He is survived by his children, Justina (Christopher) Colwell, of Jackson, Jeremy Oiler, of Jackson, Lisa (Jeremy) Waldo, of Washington, Zoey Oiler, of Rutland, and Brooke Oiler, of Rutland. Five grandchildren, Jayden Colwell, Jenaya Colwell, Emilee Oiler, Easton Oiler, and Gunner Oiler, siblings, Jeff (Joyce) Oiler, of Vinton, LaDonna (Arnold) Pope, of Newark, Oh., Josephine Pineyro, Greensboro, North Carolina, Jennell Oiler, of Gallipolis, and Jennett (Doug) Ousley, of Vinton, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Keith Oiler, and a sister, Kenni Lemley.
A Celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy, is entrusted with the arrangements.
