Jerry Lee Burcham, 72, of Gallipolis, passed away, at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at his residence. Born October 9, 1951 in Gallipolis he was the son of the late Lee Fletcher and Frances Geraldine Swain Burcham. He was a retried boiler operator for the Gallipolis Developmental Center, and after retirement he worked as a customer host for the Mason Walmart. He enjoyed playing golf, watching the Cincinnati Reds, spending time with his children and grandson, family dinner, and going to flee markets and yard sales. He was a member of the Winchester Methodist Church, in Jackson.
He is survived by his daughters, Marybeth (Tyler Swingle) Burcham, of Bidwell, and Leanna (Hunter Lahrmer) Burcham, of Gallipolis, and a grandson, Dustin Swingle. A sister, Judy Bush of Oak Hill, a niece, Amanda (Kurtis) Strickland, a nephew, Brad (Dawne) Bush, also survive.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bill Bush.
Cremation services are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis.
