Jerry Hubbard, 70, of Pomeroy, passed away at 12:00am on Friday, June 21,2024, at his residence. Born January 13, 1954, in Mason, West Virginia, he was the son of the Late Larry R. Hubbard and Helen (Workman) Hubbard Holter. He was a retired coal miner having worked at Ohio Valley Coal Company and Southern Ohio Coal Company in Meigs and Belmont counties. He was a member of the United Mine Workers Association of America Local 1857.
He is survived by his children, Cassie (John) Conley, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeremy Hubbard, of Pomeroy, Ohio, Abby Hubbard, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Timothy (Jessica) Hubbard, of Moundsville, West Virginia, Grandchildren, Caleb, Ally, Kody, Bradley, Mallory, Daxton, Lakyn, Jeremiah, Blaycen, Embriella, and Tyler, and Great-Grandson Andrew. His stepfather, Roger (Nancy) Holter, of Rockport, West Virginia, stepmother, Eddie Hubbard, of Racine, Ohio, sisters, Angela Hubbard, of Racine, Ohio, Robin Hubbard, of Racine, Ohio, Rosemary (Mark) Pierce, of Racine, Ohio, brothers, Richard Hubbard, of Pomeroy, Ohio, and James (Susie) Holter, of Canal Winchester, Ohio also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Hubbard, maternal grandparents Theron K and Susie Mae Workman, paternal grandparents, Carl and Adrianne Hubbard, and nephew Isaac Jordan Pierce.
Funeral Services will be held in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy, Ohio on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 10:00a.m. with Rev. Larry Lemley officiating. Interment will follow in the Carmel Cemetery, Racine. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy.
