Joey “Joe” Glenn Freeman, 70, of Chapmanville, WV departed this life on February 25, 2026.
He was born September 9, 1955 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Hasty and Jerry C. Freeman.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brothers, John Vance, Ricci Freeman and James “Jerry” Freeman along with his brother-in-law Greg Butcher.
Joe was a humble, quiet and kind person who was always ready to help his family, friends and neighbors. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and most of all hunting. Joe was a retired Union Laborer from Local 543 Huntington, WV.
Those left to cherish his memory include the love of his life, Teresa Freeman and two daughters Misty Adams (Rodney Craddock) and Amanda Adams-Mock (Kevan). He is also survived by five grandsons, Liam Jarrells (Lexi), Mason Jarrells, Terry Jarrells, Cade and Cory Mock; one great granddaughter Winslow Jarrells; two brothers Page Freeman and Jay Freeman (Ida); his dog Buttons and a host of family and friends.
Cremeen-King Funeral Home is entrusted with his final arrangements. Per his request, no services are planned.
