She enjoyed spending time with her family. They were her joy in life.
She was a mother to three children whom she loved unconditionally, a grandma to eight grandchildren who meant the world to her, and a great grandma to six with two more on the way. Her heart was full of joy whenever she was with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters Jessyca (Jeremy) Barnett and Sarah (Aaron) McCombs, grandchildren Jacob and Joshua Hatfield, Josiah and Cora McCombs, Leia (Justin) Chadwell, Thomas, Hanna and Halley Barnette, great grandchildren Rutheia, Corey, Elizabeth, Charlie, Forest, and Wynston, her husband Calvin Pickens, and siblings Bonnie Payne and Shawn Gilmore.
