Keith “Roach” Hayman, 65, of East Letart, went home to be with the Lord at 4:44 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Born December 20, 1959, he was the son of the late Gerald and Focie Stover Hayman. Keith served nearly 40 years working for AEP on the Ohio River starting as a deck hand and working his way up to pilot. Keith was known by many and had many interests including watching football, drag racing, buggy riding, shooting sports, camping, and he enjoyed being a deejay where he was known as “Roach Rock”.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Leslie Roberts Hayman, his son, Shane Hayman, of Racine, and his daughter, Amber (Bradley George) Hayman, of Racine. His brothers Ted Hayman, of Columbus, Ohio, and Don (Donna) Hayman, of Maryland, his sister Linda Carson, of Mason, WV, his cat Cletus, his grand-dog Molly, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Lillie Mae Hart and Phyllis Young.
Funeral services for Keith will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine with Pastor Larry Fisher officiating. Interment will follow in the Letart Falls Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
