Kevin Jay White, 53, of Racine, passed away at 7:36 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. Born August 2, 1971, he was the son of the late Carroll “Pinky” White and Joyce Parsons White who survives in Racine. He was employed with the United States Postal Service in Racine, Ohio where many knew him and called him “The Mailman”. Kevin had a love for the outdoors where he enjoyed many activities: hunting, buggy riding, boating, and most importantly, fishing. He spent most of his free time on or near the water casting a line.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Sheri Cummins White, of Racine, whom he married on April 24, 2025, his daughter Kendra (Josh) White, of Pomeroy, step-daughter Abby (Dalton) Cummins, of Racine, grandson Gunnar Patterson, of Racine, sisters Darla Tucker, of Racine, and Deanna (Allen) Tucker, of Racine, brother Keith (Jackie) White of Racine, nieces Nicki Tucker, Lynzee Schweigert, and great nephew Maverick. Special friends, that he considered brothers, Michael Johnson, D.J. Smith, Joshua Smith, and Clayton Shain and many other friends and relatives who loved him dearly also survive.
In addition to his father, Kevin was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Terry Tucker.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine at 1:00 p.m. with Kevin’s brother, Keith White officiating. Interment will follow in the Letart Falls Cemetery. Friends and Family may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
