Loretta Fern (Roberts) Stitt

Loretta Fern Roberts Stitt, 77, of Crown City, Mercerville Community, passed away, at 8:04 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024 at her residence. Born March 26, 1947, in Pomeroy, Ohio she was the daughter of the late James Pearly and Lola Whytsell Roberts. She was a jeweler.

She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Stitt, whom she married on December 19, 2014 in Huntington, West Virginia, her daughters, Marchelle Campbell, of Great Falls, South Carolina, Angela (John) Fitzsimmons, of Rock Cave, West Virginia, and Amy (William) Price, of Denver, North Carolina. Grandchildren, Robert Ruland, Althea Price, John Price, Sean Fitzsimmons, and Autumn Fitzsimmons. Siblings, Earlene Roberts, of Lawson, WV., Evelyn Roberts Drake, of Texas, and Lola “Maxine” Roberts Hubbard, of Racine, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Adrain Roberts, Eunice Roberts Rose, Glenda Roberts Poole, Iva Jean Roberts Rose, Ruby Roberts Cutlip, Jimmy Roberts Jr., Gail Roberts, and Bonnie Roberts.

Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family at a later time and date in the Meigs Memory Gardens, Pomeroy, Ohio. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis is entrusted with the arrangements.
