Mary K. Braley, 78, of Pomeroy, passed away, at 8:51 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in the Wexner Medical Center at the Ohio State University. Born November 16, 1945 in West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Franklin John Hoffman and Iva Pearl Powell. She was a waitress and a very caring mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her significant other, James Racer, sons, Jack (Kimberly) Braley, of Pomeroy, Tim (Kristi) Braley, of Middleport, Sean Braley, of Pomeroy, and James Braley, of Middleport, a step-son, David (Tammy) Ballard, of Pomeroy. Eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild, a sister, Marjorie Fetty, of Alexandria, Kentucky, a brother, Ivan (Jeanette) Powell, of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Kurtiss Braley, and daughter-in-law, Carol Braley, and a sister, Ernie Stump.
Graveside services will be held in the Rocksprings Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
