Mary E. Crews, 81, of the Patriot community, passed away into the arms of Jesus at 4:58 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2022 in the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Department. Born January 2, 1941 in Gallipolis she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Mabel L. Allbright Mahan. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Patriot United Methodist Church where she attended every Sunday until her health wouldn't allow her to attended church services. She married Bobby Crews on May 28, 1959 in Gallipolis, Ohio and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2000. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Robin Crews, Roger Crews, Kristy Crews and her grandson, Jonathan Crews who she was extremely proud of. She also leaves behind her faithful fury companion, Charlie. Also left to cherish her memory is her sister, Edna (Lawrence) Tawney, her brother, Richard Maham. sisters-in-law, Wanda (Bob) Terry, Edith (Jim) Brewer and brother-in-law, Basil Crews. Many nieces and nephews also survive who were very dear to Mary. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her sisters-in-law, Shirley Mahan and Maude Crews and by a brother-in-law, Chester Crews. There are no calling hours or funeral service. Private interment will be in the Masonic Garden at the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. The Crews family would like to give special thanks to the Holzer Emergency Department and Holzer Home Health for always going above and beyond to give her the best care. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home is entrusted with Mary's final arrangements.
