Montiena M. Stanley Thompson, 86, of Alexandria, Ohio, passed away, at 2:25 am on Friday July 4, 2025, in the Country View of Sunbury, of Sunbury, Ohio. Born April 15, 1938, in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Nellie Davis Stanley. She was a mother and homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Penny Thompson, of Alexandria, Ohio. Her sister, Ellen (Charles) Small, of Crown City, brothers, Elmer (Linda) Stanley, of Gallipolis, and Paul Stanley, of LeGrange, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Thompson whom preceded her on March 5, 2023, a sister, Constance “Connie” Hemphill, and a brother, Melvin Dyke.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 in the Providence Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis.
