Paul Cullen Goddard, 91, of Patriot, passed away, at 10:10 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2025 in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. Born November 1, 1933 in Surrey, England, he was the son of the late Cullen and June Elsworth Goddard. He was a horse trainer, and owner-operator of the Littleworth Stable. He was a member of the United States Trotting Association.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Karsten Goddard, whom he married on December 15, 1967, in Poughkeepsie, New York. A daughter, Jill (Steve) Castrogiovanna, of Powell, Ohio, a son, Cullen (Kim) Goddard, of Patriot, grandchildren, Ashely Tawney, Chase Tawney, Deagan Goddard, and Emma Goddard, a brother, Richard Goddard, of Sarasota, Florida, sisters, Diane Johnson, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Virginia Goddard, of New York City, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother John Goddard.
Cremation services are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis.
