Paul L Hoback

Paul Lawrence Hoback, 87, of Jacksonville, Florida, and formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, and Racine, Ohio, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday May 5, 2026, in the Community Hospice Center, in the Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, Florida. Born June 6, 1938, in Racine, Ohio, he was the son of the late Charles Edward and Sarah Irene Theiss Hoback. He was a retired Certified Public Accountant for the John Hancock Financial Company.

He is survived by his daughters, Patricia (Charles) Tabb, Melissa (Joe Moll) Price, and Paula Hoback, all of Jacksonville, Florida, grandchildren, Clarice, Sheila, William, Crystal, Haley, Jaclyn, Logan, and Caleb. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Reppart Hoback, who preceded him on November 7, 2024, and a brother, Carl Edward Hoback.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine. His son-in-law Charles Tabb will officiate, and interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
