Phyllis Dianne (Slater) Bush

Phyllis Dianne Bush, 76, of Patriot, passed away, at 12:06 a.m. on Monday, September 4, 2023, in the Riverside Methodist Hospital, in Columbus. Born November 22, 1946, in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late John W. and Elizabeth Jane Crabtree Slater. She retired after twenty-two years of service from GKN Sinter Metals, in Gallipolis.

She is survived by her husband, Russell Bush whom she married on June 28, 1980 in Oak Hill, Ohio, daughters, Rhonda Jenkins, of Gallipolis, and Christina (John) Hornsby, of Gallipolis. Four grandchildren, Danielle Nicole Jenkins, Robert Lee Cook, Elizabeth Dianne Robinson, and Sean Thomas Hornsby, nine great-grandchildren, and a brother, John (Terri) Slater, of Jackson, also survive.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Vernita Dickens, and Eleanor Evans.

Ther will be no calling hours nor funeral services. Private interment will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Walnut Township. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis is entrusted with the arrangements.
