Ralph Edward McPherson

Ralph Edward McPherson, 72, of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away at 3:34 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at his residence.  Born February 3, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Hershal Lee and Doris Jean Leforce McPherson.  He was a retired automotive mechanic. 

Ralph is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patty Ann Arriaga McPherson, whom he married on April 20, 1985, in Detroit, Michigan, and his son J.R. McPherson. His brothers, Chuck McPherson, of Michigan and Jimmy Dale (Brenda) McPherson, of Detroit, Michigan, his sisters, Brenda (Richard) Derosa, of Tennessee, Linda Ramonat, of Shelby TWP, Michigan, and Charlene (John) Ball, of Vinton, Ohio, his sister-in-law, Angela Arriaga, of Bidwell, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald McPherson and Jeffrey McPherson, and his brother-in-law, James T. Denney.

In keeping with Ralph’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis is caring for the McPherson Family.
