Rose Hively, 78, Gallipolis, passed away at 11:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2025, in the Hopewell Grove Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. Born November 25, 1947 in Gallipolis, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Holden and Clara Mae Grinnell Hively. Rose was loved by all that knew her and she touched many lives. She was always a joy to be around and had faith in everyone she met. She loved hanging out with her friends and PALS family, caring for her pets, and long evenings on her porch enjoying the company of others. Rose was always there to help others in any way that she could. Whenever you needed a smile or a hug, she was there. She always loved spending time with her Mr. Bear. Rose's legacy will continue to be felt by many. Rose was faithful to everyone in her life. The impact she made in this world was everlasting. She created deep bonds with all those who had the privilege to work with her. Rose was very close with her roommates Lori and Kathy and loved to take care of them. Thank you to Hopewell Grove for their compassion during her short time there. Thank you to the PALS family members who gave Rose the best care possible and will miss her greatly.
