Obituary
Ruby E. Congo, 90, of Portland, Ohio, left this world at 8:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, for her eternal home with her Savior, Jesus Christ. Born April 4, 1931 in Portland she was the daughter of late John Lawson and Olive Lawson. She was a cook for the Southern Schools for years. She was a member of the Stiversville Church for years. She will be missed by all.
She is survived by her son, Joe (Ruth) Congo of Long Bottom, Ohio, a
daughter, Mary (Dennis) McWilliams, Marysville, Ohio, and preceded in death by a son, Randy Congo. Two special grand daughters, Sabrina Congo and Rebeccah (Dave Cambarare) Congo. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Congo. She was preceded in death by two sisters, one step sister and six brothers.
Private graveside services were held in the Stiversvilles Cemetery.
Services were entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine, Ohio.
