Sandra Lynn Lane

Sandra Lynn Lane, 72, Gallipolis, passed away at 12:23 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 in the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Born April 14, 1950 in New York City she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Charlotte Hines Hutchens. Sandra was a member of the Good News Baptist Church and was a retired office manager. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Delton "Jim" Lane on June 19, 2016. She is survived by her two step-sons, Michael D. Lane, of Gallatin, Tennessee and Jason Lane, of Roseville, California, her grandchildren, Mathew Lane, of Bakersfield, California, Brian Lane, of Ventura, California, Nicholas Lane, of Ada, Oklahoma and Nathan Lane, of Bakerfield, California, great-grandchildren, Madison Lane, of Bakersfield, California, Harrison Lane, of Ventura, California, Alice Lane, of Ventura, California, and Ray Lane of Ada, Oklahoma. Also surviving is her sister, Irene Ridgway, of North Platte, Nebraska and her brother, Jerry Hutchens, of Salinas, California. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be conducted at the Good News Baptist Church at a later date. Cremeens-King Funeral Home is serving the Lane family.
