Sharon L. Kitchen Carman, 75, of Middleport, went home to be with her Lord, at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023 in the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. Born December 15, 1947, in Logan, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Edgar Matthew “Jack” and Alice Browning Kitchen. She was a member of the River of Life Church, in Rutland.
She is survived by her son, Jack (Mars) Kitchen, of Langsville, three grandchildren, Jack (Jess Day) Kitchen, Jr., Grace (Cory) Chapman, and Jake Askey. Seven great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Robert, Gabriel, Dakota, Xavier, Zander, and a baby boy that is on the way, a great-grandson, Rowan Beck Erwin. Two sisters, Lelia Haggy, and Margaret Sinclair, two brothers, Mike (Yolanda) Kitchen, and Kevin (Beth) Kitchen, and a brother-in-law, Harold McKenzie, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gale Carman, a sister, Minnie McKenzie, a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Nora Kitchen.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Pomeroy is entrusted with Sharon’s arrangements.
