Shawn L. Castle

Shawn L. Castle, 54, of Middleport, and formerly of Letart Falls, passed away, at 7:14 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in the Holzer Meigs Emergency Department. Born January 22, 1969, in Charleston, West Virginia he was the son of the late Leonard Castle and the late Raynett McIntyre McCleanahan. He was a mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Frye Castle, whom he married on October 6, 2008, in Pearisburg, Virginia, children, Brittney Kay Sutton, of North Carolina, Jacob Ryan McIntyre, of Tennessee, and Harley Davis Castle, of West Virginia, stepchildren, James Slater, Cory Slater, both of Winfield, West Virginia, Christopher Slater, of Charleston, WV., and Jennifer Slater, of Winfield, and thirteen grandchildren. Brothers, Steve Miliam, Teddy McCleanahan, and Linny Castle, a sister, Tammy White, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023, in the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine. With Rev. James Keesee officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Letart Cemetery.
