Our loving mother, Shirley Jean Turley went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday October 27th at 1:35 pm in the James Cancer Center in the Wesner Medical Center, at the Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, with her children by her side.
She was the beloved wife of Brady A Turley Jr. whom we lost last July. He was her whole heart. Both of her parents Leland and Eleanor Crawford are forever in our hearts, as well as her brothers, Sonnie Crawford, Kay Crawford, and sister Charlene Crawford who passed away before momma.
She is survived by 5 children, Mary Ann (Quentin Jay) Stapleton, of Crown City, Kathi Hicks, of Clifford, PA, Brady (Lori)Turley III, of Ravenswood, WV, Bryan Turley, of Ashton, WV, and Michelle (Reed) Bishop, of Bidwell, OH.
Her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jay Stapleton Jr., W. Michael (Haley) Jocelynn Stapleton, Luke (Kymberley) Enzo, Asher, Kai Stapleton, Dana Stapleton, Scarlett Wandling, Braxton, Denver, Anastasia, and Hudson, Aurora, Sebastian and Brooke Turley, her sisters Judy, Darlene, Tammy (Kay’s wife) Crawford, brother Randy (Clare) Crawford, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her family was everything to her. She will be missed dearly. Your thoughts and prayers for her soul and our family is most welcome. We desire that the most for our mother.
Cremation services are entrusted to the Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Gallipolis.
